Interview - Grassroots to World Class - Asian Photography Magazine - June 2026
Appreciation from David Bodapati - one of India's veteran sports editors.
Well-deserved recognition, Srinivas! I have watched you work at every round for nearly a decade, and what stands out most is not just the quality of your photographs, but the discipline, consistency and passion behind them. Long before the first engine fires up, you're already at the circuit, attending every briefing, planning every detail and preparing meticulously for the day ahead.

Most people see the final image; few see the relentless commitment behind it. Year after year, round after round, you've brought the same professionalism, focus and work ethic to the job. That's what makes this feature so special. Your photographs capture not just speed and machinery, but the people, sacrifices, emotions and stories that define motorsport.

Delighted to see Asian Photography recognise a photographer whose dedication matches the intensity of the sport itself. Talent may get you noticed, but it is your discipline, consistency and passion (you may not see it yourself) that have earned this recognition. Congratulations, Srini!

Thank you for sharing the copy of Asian Photography Magazine.
I was very happy to see Srinivasa Krishnan's feature in the magazine's Pro-Profile. His passion for Motor sports has been beautifully captured in the magazine.
My best wishes to him and your family for continued success and good health.

This photograph captures two people to whom I owe more than words can express - my mother, Kalyani Veeraraghavan, who was also my first teacher, and my photography mentor, KL Raja Ponsing, holding a print copy of the June 2026 issue of Asian Photography magazine, in which I was featured in the "Pro-Profile" section.

My mother taught me words and values. My photography mentor taught me light and vision. This magazine is, in many ways, a tribute to both.
